1. Acceptance
By installing or using one of these apps (the "app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. License to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on any device you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not sell, sublicense, rent, redistribute, reverse engineer, or otherwise commercially exploit the app or its content (vocabulary lists, audio recordings, images, code) without prior written permission.
3. Content accuracy
The app's flashcards and audio are provided for language-learning purposes. We make a reasonable effort to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that all translations, examples, grammar notes, or pronunciations are free of errors. Use the app as a learning aid, not as an authoritative reference.
4. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system version.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the app, including loss of data, loss of progress, or any reliance on the app's content.
6. Third-party services
The app links to external resources (for example, YouTube videos). We do not control those resources and are not responsible for their content, policies, availability, or accuracy.
7. Changes to the app and to these terms
We may update, modify, or discontinue the app at any time. We may also update these terms; the effective date above will be revised whenever the terms change. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
